airBaltic, which is provided ground handling services by Havaş, one of the leading companies in Turkey in ground handling services and becoming well-known in the global arena with its subsidiaries, at Riga Airport, was granted 'The World's Most Punctual Airline' award by OAG, a UK based research company. airBaltic, the flag carrier airline company in Latvia, achieved a punctuality rating of 90.01% for its flights in 2017. During the award ceremony, Havaş Latvia Station Manager Simons Zitcers was presented a Certificate of Appreciation by airBaltic.

In 2017, Havaş handled more than 1 million baggage at Riga Airport and provided service to 24,590 flights and approximately 3.5 million passengers, as well as 2,883 tons of cargo.
