Havaş, one of the prominent players in ground handling services sector, renewed its long-term agreement with Ukraine Airlines until 2021.
Being one of the pioneering companies in ground handling services in Turkey and becoming well-known as the global brand of Turkey in the global arena, Havaş renewed its ground handling services agreement with Ukraine Airlines until 2021. With the agreement, Havaş will continue to provide ground handling services to Ukraine Airlines for its scheduled reciprocal flights to Istanbul and Ankara, as well as charter flights to Antalya, Dalaman and Bodrum. Havaş has been providing full-fledged ground handling services to Ukraine Airlines since 2004.
Havaş General Manager Kürşad Koçak stated, ‘’Our collaboration with Ukraine Airlines has been ongoing for almost 14 years. With this agreement, we decided to sustain our collaboration and prolong our service period until 2021. This year is our 85th anniversary in the sector and we have invaluable human resources and know-how in the one of the world's most challenging industries. Nevertheless, we have adapted very well to the continuously and rapidly changing-evolving dynamics of the aviation sector without compromising from our ongoing development, technology investments and innovation. In 2017, Havaş provided ground handling services to 2,836 flights of Ukraine Airlines. Havaş provides full-fledged ground handling services to Ukraine Airlines including passenger and luggage transactions, ramp, aircraft cleaning, load control and communication, cargo, flight operations, transportation, representation and supervision services. Havaş also has a service agreement with Ukraine Airlines for their Kiev-Riga flights operated at Riga Airport.
